Ed Peck concentrates in the government relations area. He has served as a lobbyist and state government employee for more than 25 years. Peck has an extensive background in Illinois politics and has first-hand knowledge of the nature in which Illinois government is conducted. This comes from having served in the legislative branch and representing a broad range of clients, including corporations, associations, partnerships and units of local government.
For the past 16 years Peck has been a government affairs consultant whose clients have included Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, ExxonMobil, Nucor Steel, ANGA, ITLA, Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, Associated Beer Distributors of Illinois, Illinois Hospital and Health systems Association, Cook County Board of Commissioners, Regional Transportation Association (RTA), and the Illinois Insurance Association.

A veteran of numerous political campaigns, Peck holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield. In 1998 & 2002, Peck served as a member of the gubernatorial transition teams. In 2003, Peck was appointed by Secretary of State Jesse White to serve as one of seven members on the Secretary of State’s Ethics Commission.
In the early 1990’s, Peck served as a legislative aide and policy advisor to the Illinois Speaker of the House. He staffed the House Cities and Villages and House Counties and Townships Committees, had staff responsibility for all airport expansion matters, reviewed actions pending and taken by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, and oversaw appropriations for several large state agencies.
